Steven Tessier


Steven Tessier is a veteran teacher with over 20 years of experience. He presently owns and operates the Whygo Language Center in Taipei where he also teaches adults from various walks of life. His clients include many business leaders and executives of large international corporations in Taiwan. 
He works with the Ministry of Economic Affairs designing and delivering courses to executives of state-owned companies, diplomats and high-level officials of the Taiwanese government.He develops customized training programs and evaluation methods for corporations, publishers and educational institutions. He also trains foreign and Taiwanese teachers.
Steven is a renowned editor and has participated in publications such as scientific and medical journals, books, corporate reports, marketing material, manuals, financial analysis reports and other training material. Furthermore, he has written numerous university application requests enabling students to gain admission into prestigious universities such as Cambridge and Columbia.
Steven also has a wide range of complementary skills and experiences: he has worked in movies, can cook, knows how to fix cars and motorcycles and has had military training.  Through his experiences in these numerous fields, as well as his education in Social Sciences, Computer Programming and Electrical Engineering, Steven has developed a gift for bridging the gap between specialists and the average person. He finds simple ways to explain complex processes, particularly in the fields of technology and science. He has acquired a  unique perspective in problem solving enabling him to discover innovative and practical solutions as the need arises. His 8 years in Taiwan, 4 of which were spent running a business here, have also provided him with a unique understanding of some of the cultural differences between Taiwan and the West.
